Job Description

As a key driver of operational excellence this role shapes the future of Clariants global and regional production operations by developing implementing and sustaining best-in-class initiatives. The incumbent guides the design and rollout of strategic Operations programs focusing on performance improvement energy efficiency and sustainability while ensuring measurable financial and operational impact. Acting as a trusted advisor to BU mentors and site teams this position combines strategic insight coaching and cross-functional collaboration to embed innovative practices strengthen capabilities and secure long-term resilience across Clariants operations network.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global and regional Operations strategies initiatives and roll out plans to drive best-in-class performance.
  • Design improve and standardize processes SOPs blueprints and training programs across BUs.
  • Facilitate workshops ideation sessions and coaching to identify and realize performance improvement opportunities.
  • Advise on strategic investments in systems tools and external support to optimize Operations.
  • Foster energy efficiency sustainability and benchmarking initiatives tracking financial and operational impact.
  • Monitor and assess initiative implementation ensuring adherence continuous improvement and long-term adaptability.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to BU mentors and site teams guiding implementation capability building and next-level production system approaches.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering / Science with relevant Operations experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional business experience in a B2B environment ideally with strategic or Operations experience at mentorship level
  • 5 years in the chemical industry (production environment)
  • Team stewardship experience
  • Project management (larger initiatives)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience
