Responsibilities:
- Configure and install various network devices and services.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hotfixes and security configurations.
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
- Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Create oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery).
- Communicate with users when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
- Understanding of network security practices.
