The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
High School Diploma required; a College Degree in Culinary Arts or similar is desirable.
Proficient in English (reading writing and speaking).
Strong skills in food quality presentation adaptability teamwork and attention to detail.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in various kitchen areas preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.

About Jumeirah Muscat Bay:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commi to joinJumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Prepare and cook ingredients sauces and seasonings according to established recipes and specifications.
Wash cut and season vegetables fruits and meats with accuracy including marination when required.
Assist Demi Chef or Chef de Partie in executing cooking techniques plating and food preparation to high standards.
Monitor kitchen inventory maintain stock levels and report shortages or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while following food safety hygiene and HACCP standards.
Maintain cleanliness of stations support colleagues and adhere to departmental policies and Jumeirah service standards.
