Job Description
*Remote Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Product Owner II position! This is a 6 month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States (EST working hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Build and own a large product or set of products vision and roadmap aligned with strategic intent; communicate with teams and stakeholders.
- Prioritize backlog(s) based on product vision and strategy.
- Represent the voice of the customer and convey user story details to the team; make autonomous decisions to advance delivery.
- Write user stories and define acceptance criteria to support Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD).
- Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to communicate progress using appropriate tools.
- Participate in team activities and agile ceremonies.
- Use matrixed influence to align with essential business partners including senior leaders.
- Leverage design thinking and analytics to drive product outcomes.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to align the customer journey and dependencies.
- May act on behalf of the Senior Product Owner in their absence.
- Understand and adhere to risk and regulatory standards.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale data and transformation initiatives
- Background in product management within financial and banking industries
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work in an ambiguous environment
- Bachelors degree with at least 6 years of business analytical technical or product experience or 10 years of combined education/work experience.
- Proven ability to prioritize amidst competing priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong independent decision-making and influence skills.
- Understanding of Design Thinking principles and product design best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Lean principles and experience partnering with UX teams.
- Experience managing/developing digital capabilities.
Pay Range:$60-$75/hr
