Job Description
Education Assistant 2025/26 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated Education Assistant to join our team for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:
- Start Date: September 3 2025
- End Date: June 19 2026
- Compensation: $20 to $25/hour commensurate with education and experience
- Schedule: School-year calendar (hours to be confirmed)
Role Overview:
The Education Assistant will support classroom learning and student development by:
- Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
- Supporting student independence engagement and success in the classroom
- Contributing to a positive inclusive and caring learning environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience flexibility and enthusiasm for supporting student learning
- Educational Assistant certification or related training (asset but not required)
