About the Role
As a Nordic HR Business Partner you will act as a trusted advisor to our leaders and employees driving HR strategies that align with our business objectives and embody the One STHER culture. With a strong focus on Norwegian labor law and Nordic HR practices you will deliver tailored business-focused solutions while also taking responsibility for creating an inspiring well-managed office environment in Oslo.
The role will be based in Oslo and report to STHERS Nordic HR Director based in Copenhagen.
Your Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with division leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives across the Nordic region.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations compliance talent management and organizational development.
- Adapt and implement STHERs HR policies and processes in Norway ensuring they meet local legal standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices ensuring compliance with the latest legal regulations.
- Facilitate key HR processes including recruitment employee development onboarding and succession planning.
- Identify and recommend improvements to optimize the office environment and align it with STHERs culture and employee needs.
Nordic HR Projects
- Lead and contribute to Nordic-wide HR initiatives ensuring alignment with STHERs strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the Nordic HR team to deliver impactful and consistent HR practices.
Operational HR Responsibilities
- Draft review and finalize employment contracts and HR documents ensuring compliance with Norwegian labor law.
- Manage employee data and records in our HR systems supporting smooth onboarding offboarding and position transitions.
- Provide hands-on support for day-to-day HR needs ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all employee interactions.
What Were Looking For
Professional Qualifications
- Education: University degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology Law or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role ideally with Nordic or international exposure.
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Norwegian labor law and collective agreements.
- Familiarity with Nordic HR processes and the ability to work across diverse teams.
- Proficiency with HR systems (experience with Emply is a plus) and data-driven decision-making.
- Languages: Fluency in Norwegian and English is required; proficiency in other Nordic languages (Danish Swedish or Finnish) is a bonus.
