The Opportunity
Contract - 6 months with potential for extension
Were looking for a Knowledge Graph Engineer to support the design and development of intelligent data solutions that enhance search discovery and contextual reasoning. This is a junior-to-mid-level opportunity ideal for someone with a strong interest in graph-based technologies and semantics and a desire to grow their expertise while contributing to real-world client outcomes.
Youll work closely with AI and data engineering teams to prototype build and deploy knowledge graph models that help our clients structure and extract value from complex interconnected information
What Youll Do
- Model Knowledge Domains:
Assist in designing ontologies and taxonomies to represent domain-specific knowledge in structured graph formats.
- Build Graph Pipelines: Develop and support pipelines that transform unstructured and structured data into graph-based formats using tools like RDF OWL SPARQL or property graphs.
- Support Reasoning & Discovery: Enable semantic search and inference over knowledge graphs to enhance information retrieval and decision-making.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with data scientists engineers and domain experts to integrate graph models into broader AI or analytics solutions.
- Prototype & Iterate: Support research testing and refinement of new approaches to graph construction link prediction and entity disambiguation
What Youll Bring
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j Stardog GraphDB Amazon Neptune)
- Familiarity with RDF SPARQL OWL or property graph models
- A foundational understanding of ontologies linked data or semantic technologies
- Experience working with Python or another scripting language
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and work across data and AI disciplines
