Office of Juvenile Justice Swanson Center for Youth-Monroe4701 South Grand St. Monroe LA 71202Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth who will become productive law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker 6-B to provide advanced clinical services to youth in custody. This position involves direct therapeutic care case management and coordination of treatment plans in a secure care or residential setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment a trauma-informed approach and a deep commitment to youth rehabilitation.Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:
A masters degree in social work followed by five years of social services experience.Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide direct therapeutic services including individual group and family counseling
Collaborate with facility staff families and external agencies to support youth development
Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and agency policies
Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
Work Location: This vacancy is located at Swanson Center for Youth in Monroe Louisiana.
Appointment Type:Full time Probational
No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
