Our client is a well-known pharmaceutical association.

Job Description

External Communications:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with media including establishing new partnerships with digital platforms and online publications.
  • Developing and executing PR strategies communication plans and public content management initiatives that align with the companys strategic direction.
  • Maximizing brand visibility by creating and distributing branded content tailored to each publications audience.
  • Translating press releases and key communications between global and local contexts ensuring they are engaging informative and culturally relevant.
  • Ensuring consistent messaging across all media and managing the flow of news and information to various publications.
  • Managing the companys digital communication channels including social media websites and newsletters with responsibility for content planning and the communications calendar.
  • Serving as the primary contact for award submissions ensuring accurate and effective representation.
  • Supporting corporate events beyond PR activities and participating in networking with government agencies or healthcare associations to reinforce the companys image and messaging.
  • Strengthening partnerships with stakeholders including patient advocacy groups and industry partners to support health and access initiatives for improved health outcomes.

Internal Communications:

  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to provide input and optimize internal communications enhancing employee morale and alignment.
  • Providing strategic guidance on executive communications to the Managing Director and leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Public Communication or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR/internal-external communication in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Ability to attend government events and network with healthcare professionals or executives in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
