What Youll Responsible For:
Performing service desk duties 1st line and 2nd line support and incident handling.
Business Application sync/replication monitoring and status update to stakeholders. Ensure high availability of business-critical application.
Ensure Vessel IT support documentation is updated and reviewed periodically.
Perform international travel related to IT support cases as required.
Purchase setup install & support vessel IT Infrastructure.
Develop and maintain user system and operational documentation for vessel IT usage.
Ensure services are delivered according to WSM principles and guidelines for vessel IT support and best practices as applicable.
Contribute and ensure vessel IT problem management.
Contribute and ensure vessel IT Change Management.
Supervise critical/urgent ticket.
Participate in system implementation project onboard the vessels on management.
Participate in system implementation projects in WSM onshore when required.
What Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelors degree/Diploma in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or similar tertiary education.
Minimum of 5 years of experience. Maritime IT experience preferred.
Experience Installing configuring and maintaining Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) roles and features (File Server Print Server DHCP etc.) and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
Capable of deploying and administering Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in multi-site or isolated environments
Solid understanding of TCP/IP VLAN DNS NAT DHCP NAT
Experience configuring Access Points routers firewalls and switches (Cisco Mikrotik Fortinet preferred)
VPN setup and troubleshooting (IPsec OpenVPN SSL VPN)
Ability to detect contain and escalate cybersecurity incidents
Hands-on experience configuring and managing virtual environments using Hyper-V or VMware
Demonstrated capability in diagnosing and resolving critical or unclear IT issues while ensuring relevant team members and stakeholders are consistently updated on progress and resolutions.
