Job Summary

Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Titan Placement Group is searching for a Florida Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) for an established dental office in Sarasota FL.

Sarasota is renowned for its beautiful beaches thriving arts and culture scene and natural attractions. Its often referred to as Floridas Culture Coast.

This position is with an established organization dedicated to providing top patient care and a supportive working environment.

Salary and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour (based on experience)
Status: Full-time (eligible for full benefits; average 33 hours/week)

Responsibilities

Schedule:

TuesdayThursday: 7:45am 5:00pm (lunch 1:002:00)
Friday: 8:00am 3:00pm (lunch 1:002:00)
No nights weekends or holidays

Chair-Side Assistance: Support the dentist during treatment swap tools as necessary monitor patients and provide post-treatment care.
Patient Preparation & Comfort: Meet and greet patients prepare them for treatment and ensure comfort throughout procedures.
Clinical Support: Scanning for impressions making temporary crowns sterilizing instruments and preparing trays for procedures.
Practice Growth Support: Work closely with the dentist who is still building their patient base. Some downtime is expected as their schedule continues to grow.
Administrative Support: Assist with patient records scheduling and front desk duties when needed.

Requirements

Must be a Florida Certified EFDA (no out-of-state certifications)
Several years of experience in general dentistry preferred
Experience with Dentrix or Ascend strongly preferred
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
Highly organized and detail-oriented
