Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and maintain spare parts and tools to ensure timely maintenance of plant and equipment.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repair optimal equipmentas required by preventative maintenance schedules and suggest improvements.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
Ensure spare parts in stock for all major process and equipment.
Supporting Production on a shift basis as required.
Continuous improvement of production process equipment by identifying and implementing improvement projects that will improve the operating effectiveness of equipment.
Coordination and liaison with vendors site contractors and external specialist contractors engaged in work on site
Performs maintenance in compliance with health and safety regulations procedures and accepted practices.
Reading analysing and interpreting technical procedures electrical schematics service manuals to carry out work.
Communicating existing and potential issues with Supervisor/Maintenance Manager.
(Dis)Assembling/Installing new machines conditioning & monitoring sensors/equipment etc.
Person Specification
Experience of hands-on of mechanical and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps motors grinding & milling machines
In depth knowledge and understanding of a variety of machines with respect to maintenance and repair
Should have sufficient experience in pneumatic hydraulics mechanics electrics
Excellent Communication Skills.
Strong Problem -Solving Skills.
Good Team Member Skills.
Well organised and ability to organise tasks.
Available to work overtime including weekends Public Holidays as required.
Qualification in Industrial Automated Technician advantageous or background in Mechatronics Instrumentation Mechanical and/or Electrical Knowledge.
