Real Chemistry is looking for a Vice President Communications to join our growing team!
We are seeking a Vice President Communications to join our critical role will help define our Communications strategy and reimagine how Real Chemistry communicates on a day-to-day basis with external stakeholders (industry clients prospective employees). The ideal candidate is a communications strategist who can execute with precision. An engaging storyteller who can see around corners predict whats next and find ways to weave Real Chemistrys narrative into tangible outcomes. This individual should have an identified ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization with a track record of generating results. Success in this role is highly dependent on the individuals ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and projects with a proactive approach to solving problems and can-do flexible attitude.
This individual will partner closely with multiple stakeholders including executives to proactively identify and drive external storytelling opportunities. They will be able to connect the dots across a wide variety of topics and issues and rally support for telling a cohesive concise story in fresh creative ways. Theyll also work closely with social media internal communications and marketing to ensure consistent and innovative approaches are connected across disciplines. Creativity innovation and the use of AI required.
This is a hybrid role based in any of our US officesincluding New York City Boston Chicago Carmel or San Franciscoor remotely within the US depending on team and business needs.
What youll do:
Establish Real Chemistrys narrative and build communications strategies to deliver on that narrative.
Drive strategic and tactical media relations activities (e.g. press release development media briefing documents interview coordination)
Discover and build relationships with new and evolving health care business and innovation press and influencers
Dive deep to capture storytelling opportunities across our business.
Lead crisis communications plan management and ongoing response.
Build POV and thought leadership for important issues.
Routinely measure and report out to stakeholders regarding the impact of communications and use measurement to adjust and adopt strategies accordingly.
Travel required as necessary.

What you should have:
Bachelors degree
10 years communications experience (in-house or at an agency).
Ability to interact with employees at all levels and work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast paced highly matrixed environment.
Highly organized mindful of deadlines able to multi-task and work under limited supervision.
Ability to take concepts and turn them into actionable steps and execute to precision.
Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the job done no matter how big or small.
Collaborative enthusiastic and positive outlook.
Comfortable and successful working in a fast-paced fluid environment.
Proven ability to think ahead engage proactively and take initiative.
Strong writing skills; ability to find creative ways to engage and inspire.
Genuine interest in the healthcare industry and willingness to stay abreast of current trends.
Pay Range: $180000 - $210000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law compensation will be determined based on job-related non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience skills certifications and geographical location.
