Were looking for a hands-on L2 Application Ops Engineer to join the Application Services team and drive both BAU support and DevOps transformation initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring production stability managing incidents changes and service requests and identifying continuous improvement opportunities across systems and processes.
This is a rotational shift-based role (Morning Afternoon Evening) with occasional on-call and weekend/public holiday work to support the banks global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incident change and service request management per ITIL standards Ensure SLA compliance issue resolution and service continuity Provide technical support across UNIX systems and DevOps toolchains Propose and implement automation monitoring and process improvements Build and manage CICD pipelines and support complex operations (DRP migrations) Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to internal documentation (Wikis
training)
Key Requirements:
3 years experience in production support infrastructure or DevOps Strong knowledge of UNIX environments and scripting (Python PowerShell) Hands-on with tools such as Ansible GitLab Azure DevOps Docker Kubernetes Familiarity with Control-M CICD practices Agile/Lean methodologies ITIL Experience with observability tools like Grafana Prometheus Dynatrace (a plus) Fluent in English (French is a plus)
