At Gardner Animal Care Center we are a team or passionate professionals who go above and beyond to ensure the health and happiness of our patients.
We are seeking to find a veterinary technician assistant to support the care we provide who is compassionate with a positive attitude and wants to join our fun energetic and a caring environment. Qualifications
Experience as a veterinary technician assistant.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT RVT or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not .
Responsibilities
Assist technicians and veterinarians with exams treatments surgical and dental procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
- Patient Care feeding walking giving medications and general care.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean organized work environment.
Maintenace cleaning and laundry responsibilities.
Pay Range Up to $19.00 hourly based on experience
