Work Environment

We are looking for a Head of Renewableto support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Energy. You will oversee the sales project management and operation of the Renewables business and contribute actively to the strategy and Business Development activities. You will evolve in an international environment and you will work in close coordination with other teams throughout the company in order to deliver projects at the highest quality standards. You will report to the Regional Manager Tractebel APAC.

You will be integrated in Tractebel Energy community a worldwide network of Energy specialists keen on sharing their knowledge.

Mission

Business Strategy

• Contribute to defining the strategy of Tractebel Engineering in Energy in the APAC region.
• Grow the Renewable Energy engineering solutions and consulting activities in APAC.
• Develop a deep understanding of the market needs and trends to deploy adequate competencies services and solutions.

Business Development and Sales

• Contribute to develop strong and trusted relationship between Tractebel Engineering and its customers in APAC.
• Leading the business development activities on existing and unexplored Renewable Energy businesses in Southeast Asia.
• Help to define and prioritize the market targets and go to market strategy in the region.
• Manage the sales process of Renewable Energy engineering solutions and consulting activities including the preparation of technical and commercial offers.
• Assess and develop new products/services and more integrated and complex approaches if relevant.

Project and Technical Management

• Be responsible for the budget of the projects in your scope.
• Lead and coach teams of project engineers & project managers efficiently in terms of project organization.
• Ensure the technical level of proposal to the market is up to the clients expectations as well as the delivery of Energy-related consulting & engineering projects with the highest standard of Quality and Safety.
• Conduct project review and guide the teams when needed.
• Mobilize resources and manage workload efficiently. Optimize the resources by collaborating closely with other department.

Management

• Transfer knowledge to the team and actively contribute to the individual development of the department team members.
• Set objectives for each individual monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
• Mobilize motivate and support the teams to achieve their targets.
• Manage direct and indirect reports and ensure the accurate skills and career development

• Bachelors degree (technical commercial or business management).
• At least 15 years of professional experience in the Energy business and minimum 5 years experiences in a leadership role.
• Working knowledge on the business development and project development.
• Ability to work autonomously and be proactive.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid leadership and managerial experiences.
• Entrepreneurial and one company spirit.
• Fluency in English knowledge of other regional languages is an asset.
• Willing to travel for short term missions.
