As the Head of Finance & Operations you will be a key member of the Roche Diagnostics Thailand Enabling Team responsible for providing leadership and coaching across Business Finance Procurement Commercial Operations (Supply Chain Business process Management & Order Management) and Compliance. You will influence strategic direction architect financial planning processes and assess business financials and generate financial insights to catalyze performance improvements. This role is pivotal in ensuring world-class financial integrity and influencing better business decision-making to achieve our operational and strategic goals.
(the primary tasks and responsibilities this job is expected to perform)
Strategic Leadership & Management:
Manage the local finance and commercial operations function ensuring adherence to Roche Group policies and local regulatory standards.
Design and implement a local finance and commercial operations strategy that balances global/regional requirements with local imperatives.
Manage the performance development and succession of the local team
Strengthen the local talent pipeline and build a high performing organization
Financial Integrity & Performance:
Ensure the integrity and reliability of the companys financial statements.
Assess the companys financial performance using appropriate KPIs and advise the enabling team on relevant risks and opportunities.
Identify value and cost drivers develop action plans and provide an independent balanced view on business challenges.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Lead the compliance function and play a major role in local business risk management.
Promote high ethical standards and ensure all business practices comply with internal and external guidelines.
Assume direct responsibility for implementing and maintaining internal controls over key business processes and financial reporting.
Operational Oversight:
Supervise Procurement Logistics and Administration operations in close collaboration with RSS.
Provide leadership in allocating financial resources and business counsel to the enabling team.
Optimize and manage the companys tax and treasury situations in conjunction with Corporate Finance and RSS.
Key Projects:
Lead/supervise key projects which are initiated globally or locally
Strong business acumen and a willingness to be a key enabler in influencing better business decision-making.
Embodies agile leadership principles: Visionary Architect Coach and Catalyst.
Possesses a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to quickly synthesize complex issues.
Demonstrates the ability to achieve results and meet deadlines.
At least 10 years of relevant finance experience including leadership over teams and projects.
A professional Finance & Accounting qualification or an MBA is required.
Good knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
Fluent English language skills are required.
