About the job :
We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Porto and support a key multi-cloud transformation project. Our client is heavily invested in AWS but now expanding into Azure and seeking to build expertise around it. Your role will be instrumental in designing deploying and maintaining cloud-native applications on Azure while supporting legacy infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust scalable and automated cloud solutions.
- Hybrid 2 days remote (flexible)
- Location: Porto Portugal
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy new applications in Azure driving a multi-cloud strategy forward.
- Manage containerized deployments using Azure Container Instances (ACI) and Azure Container Apps (ACA).
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with advanced Terraform practices.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitOps workflows primarily via Azure DevOps.
- Proactively identify infrastructure issues and implement preventative solutions.
- Collaborate with internal DevOps and development teams to align on operational excellence and cloud best practices.
- Contribute to a culture of automation security and continuous improvement across environments.
What we are looking for:
- 56 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of:
- Azure Container Services: ACI & ACA
- Terraform: Advanced IaC experience
- CI/CD & GitOps workflows using Azure DevOps
- Infrastructure deployment cloud monitoring scalability and security
- Experience with AWS (essential for legacy system support)
- Knowledge of the DevOps lifecycle and tool integration
