About the role:
The Assen Site Leader is responsible for the general management of Assen 74 headcount and the operational delivery of revenue execution for our Johnson Pump Industrial (JPI) Product line. This role provides leadership and coordination for the site and for all workers who are based at this site. The Site Leader works within a matrix reporting structure to assume Site Leader responsibilities for the location while also carrying out the Functional role of Production Manager

About your responsibilities at SPX Flow
- Provide matrix and informal leadership to managers supervisors and/or professional staff at the site
- Work within a matrix environment proactively communicating at all levels and with all functions
- Support EHS (Environment Health & Safety) compliance and best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Participate in GEMBA walks and safety committee
- Support the achievement of the targets within revenue COTD (Customer On-Time Delivery) profit and cash
- Ensure SG&A (Selling General & Admin) and OCS (Other Cost Of Sales) are tracked and managed by the team
- Support regional leadership teams in the development of P&L outlooks for the site
- Provide proper asset utilization by reviewing and managing inventory levels and monitoring excess and obsoletes
- Work closely with the Regional Leaders and other Functional Leaders to execute the strategy and initiatives of the products/portfolios
- Drive the local site engagement plan together with the Local HR representative
- Co-responsible with HR and local management team to create an attractive work environment with a healthy work-life-balance and flexible work arrangements
- Responsible for the management of the machining assembly testing and paintshop departments
- Monitor Absorption and Efficiency Metrics on a daily basis and take appropriate action
- Negotiate local agreements on behalf of the local entity
- Undertake site administrative tasks to include insurance renewals site lease and buildings maintenance arrangements utility signs offs
- Manage in cooperation with local HR and/or legal the dialog with local work council and unions
- Prepare and conduct WC (Workers Council) meetings
- Co-facilitate and host ISO audits
- Promote SPX FLOW values and culture in all communication and behavior and ensure that the local workforce operates in an ethical legal and moral environment
- Promote the SPX FLOW culture by facilitating a local diverse work force to support SPX FLOW leadership standards
- Obtain required DOA approvals and sign legal documents (including declarations of conformity)
- Responsible for compliance with local laws regulations and requirements
- Ensure periodic communication and meetings via All Hands meetings or newsletters (quarterly as a minimum)
- Support global initiatives on Lean and continues improvement PTE (Pathway To Excellence)
- Promote engage and communicate global initiatives org changes and new processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years Proven record of successful leadership preferably in a Pump Product Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced matrix environment satisfying multiple internal customers
- A Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to confidently deliver executive-level presentations and influence key stakeholders.
- Language skills: fluent English and Dutch
