Location: Toronto hybrid 2 days/week in office

Job Description:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to assist with building and scaling a commercial software as a medical device (SaMD) application. Youll work across the entire software development lifecyclefrom front-end to back-end to deploymenthelping us transition prototypes into scalable production-ready systems. Youll collaborate with our product and engineering teams to ensure the application not only meets functional needs but also adheres to industry regulations and supports ongoing monitoring and is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in regulated environments takes pride in building rock-solid systems and values reliability above all else.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design development and deployment of full-stack applications
- Build and maintain robust survey and dashboard applications ensuring accurate integration with backend platforms
- Develop scalable systems to transition prototypes into production-ready solutions including monitoring scripts and background processes.
- Support regulatory compliance (SaMD standards FDA considerations QMS training provided).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability scalability and maintainability of systems.
- Provide ongoing support for system monitoring troubleshooting and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in full-stack development
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries preferred
- Experience building applications hosted on AWS.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (Angular React or ).
- Strong experience with for backend API development.
- Familiarity with database systems (PostgreSQL MS SQL BigQuery or similar) and writing advanced queries.
- Understanding of regulated environments (finance healthcare medical device software) is a strong plus.
- Experience with software testing practices including automated testing
- Reliable detail-oriented and comfortable working in high-stakes compliance-driven projects.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) or tools such as Greenlight Guru is an assetTeam player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
