Job Description
RPQ provides a range of quality services in road construction and maintenance. As a fully owned subsidiary of Downer Group RPQ employs over 200 staff and have a fleet of over 300 machines. RPQ operates out of locations spread over Queensland and New South Wales and boasts a high level of industry experience across our management operational and support staff.
As a Project Coordinator based in Mackay you will play a key role in delivering technical estimating contractual and quality support across our construction projects. Youll be responsible for planning resources promoting industry best practices and ensuring operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and coordinate resources for project delivery.
- Oversee financial performance assessments and forecasts.
- Deliver Contract Quality Representative (CQR) services.
- Promote RPQ Groups goods and services.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration compliance.
- Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Uphold RPQs values in safety quality environment and community.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Minimum 2 years experience in civil construction.
- Expertise in spray seal asphalt stabilisation mix designs and road pavement technology.
- Strong understanding of construction specifications and materials testing.
- Proven experience in project estimation and financial forecasting.
- High-level communication skills and a commitment to ethical standards.
- Knowledge of State and Local government contract management.
- Safety-first mindset with relevant inductions and certifications.
