This Position reports to:
District Sales ManagerResponsible for sales of products solutions & services in the Houston TX trade area in accordance with the greater CIOR strategy. Build long term relationships with targeted contractors distributors consultants & end-users. Manage resolution to specific customer needs & issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities within the construction market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sells products/systems/services to customers focusing on volume mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering and align to provide a solution.
- Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Collaborate across business lines to help leverage ABBs entire product portfolio.
- Prepares offers in accordance with customer contract documents (plans & specs) and in collaboration with proposal department factory & pricing team.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum two years relevant sales experience
- BS Degree in mechanical engineering electrical engineering chemical engineering or industrial engineering.
- Salesforce experience is preferred
- Experience with technical presentations oral communication abilities in person and over the phone drafting professionally written emails and technical documents is important.
- Must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
