This position is responsible for diversified professional administrative work providingcomprehensive support for leadership within the Office of Academic Advising the Honors ScholarProgram and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creativity and the Associate VicePresident Academic Success while serving as the reception point for the Office of the VicePresidents of Academic Affairs. This position is also responsible for the oversight and maintenanceof the administrative aspects of the College-wide Commencement ceremonies. This position sets thetone for a student-centered high-performance office that emphasizes excellence in service qualityproductivity and standards.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Two (2) years of full-time related customer service or administrative support work experience. Anappropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Knowledge of business English spelling and arithmetic office practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience using a personal computer office software such as MS Office andelectronic mail. Computer use includes data entry word processing and/or accounting functions.
- Experience with document formatting basic design elements and presentation software fordeveloping internal communications and informational materials.
- Ability to operate small office equipment including copy machines and multi-line telephonesystems.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple academic programs and departments adaptingcommunication style and approach to diverse audiences.
