Position Statement
What will I be doing
As the Director Groups Meetings and Events Sales Development - Singapore you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support the Regional Director of Sales Operations with the GM&E teams adoption of Enterprise solutions & tools to achieve sales targets.
Develop GM&E training plans and ensure that relevant team members grow and develop in their functional knowledge according to the plan understanding customer needs and reinforcing Hiltons ways of working.
Summarize and manage the hotel GM&E sales process conducting regular sales evaluations to ensure each salesperson achieves the desired results.
Monitor the output value of sales and adjust sales training actions according to market changes.
Organize travel schedules and manage travel expenses to optimize sales force.
Build relationships with key GM&E solution partners and Hilton regional sales offices in partnership with the Regional Director of Sales Operations
Make every employee in the GM&E Sales department aware of key GM&E initiatives launched Globally Regionally and locally.
Work with Singapore Commercial Directors to achieve maximum productivity within the hotel and to improve groups conversions.
Monitor market trends and communicate plans to optimise group demand and group rates.
Update city-wide events for current and future so as to share information to all stakeholders.
Ensure that the Sales team effectively complete quotations send contracts to customers and follow-up promptly inviting customers to visit the hotel.
Ensure that the department sends the teamwork order in a timely manner and the banquet work order is received by the relevant departments.
Proactively collect market and industry information to share with other members of the Sales team capturing business opportunities and ultimately converting to business confirmations.
Provide regular training to employees to ensure that the team is familiar with hotel products and processes able to efficiently explore customer needs and provide professional customized services.
Regularly analyze customer output and source market structure anticipate market trends and design products and channels in advance to seize business opportunities.
Organize and host weekly Operational Excellence meetings as well as large-scale event communication meetings with all GM&E leaders and regular CE GM&E Leader Connect calls
Always ensure warm and considerate service as part of the hospitality industry.
