Requisites:

  • Experience with using dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft CoPilot Power BI is necessary to excel in this role.
  • Ability to analyse performance gaps and articulate improvement plans.
  • Interpersonal skills and stakeholder management is necessary for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • 5 and more years of leadership experience in MICE sales Catering and Event sales or Event Servicing.
  • A bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Event Management Marketing Communications Business) with proven track record in leading teams to achieve sales performance.

Qualities:

  • Takes ownership and Is proactive.
  • Strong leadership experience to manage and motivate teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools in managing events and sales data tracking.
  • Focussed and Results-oriented to drive success.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines.

Position Statement

The Director Groups Meetings and Events Sales Development - Singapore is responsible for elevating GM&E performance across our Singapore hotels with a focus on process team setup and best practise adoption. The role will ensure maximum efficiency and embedded job skills to support GM&E leaders and team members with the delivery of set targets that are both budget related and qualitative.
