Health & Safety Advisor Construction Contractor (Pharma Project Amsterdam)

The Role
Were looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to join our site team on a major pharma project in Amsterdam. Reporting to the Project Manager and Group HSE Manager youll be out on site every day making sure our crews and subcontractors work safely and to the highest standards.
What Youll Do
Be a visible presence on site ensuring compliance with company safety policies and site-specific rules.
Carry out daily site walks inspections and audits addressing unsafe acts and conditions immediately.
Lead toolbox talks safety briefings and training sessions to keep safety front of mind.
Support the site team with risk assessments method statements and permits to work.
Investigate incidents and near misses identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Work closely with supervisors and trades to promote a proactive safety culture.
What Youll Need
3 years HSE experience with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
Relevant H&S qualification (NEBOSH IOSH or equivalent).
Experience on large-scale construction projects pharma or cleanroom experience a plus.
Solid knowledge of EU and Dutch safety regulations.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge unsafe practices.
Ability to work in Amsterdam for the full project duration.
