Research Assistant Professor (EQUATOR) ()
The Chinese EQUATOR Centre is a sub-centre of the global EQUATOR Network and the first in Asia to focus on improving the quality of health science research. Our vision and mission are to promote the EQUATORs impact throughout China enhance the reporting quality of Chinese medicine research and improve the quality of Chinese medicine publications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in clinical methodology related to Chinese medicine;
- Publish research findings in high-quality peer-reviewed journals;
- Secure competitive research fundings; and
- Actively participate in academic conferences workshops and seminars to disseminate research and build collaborations.
Requirements:
- A PhD or MD degree in in health sciences or related disciplines;
- Postdoctoral research experience in Chinese medicine evidence-based medicine clinical epidemiology reporting guidelines or relevant fields;
- Demonstrated experience in leading or participating in Chinese medicine research projects related to clinical research methodology evidence-based practice clinical practice guidelines or reporting guidelines;
- A strong track record of publishing peer-reviewed articles in reputable academic journals;
- Experience in international research collaboration; and
- Fluency in English.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract up to three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
