In threat intelligence and vulnerability management at PwC you will focus on identifying and analysing potential threats to an organisations security as well as managing vulnerabilities to prevent cyber attacks. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and enabling the resilience of digital infrastructure.

SOAR Implementation Engineer
Security Automation Developer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work on technical design development and implementation of automations for various technologies that support security operations.
- Offer broad expertise across various technical domains with emphasis on cyber security.
- Implement security automation workflows in SOAR solutions.
- Devise and perform unit and integration testing ensuring compliance with standards and adherence to design specifications.
- Work with the team to establish implement and adopt best practices for methodologies.
- Address and resolve technical issues.
- Document automations comprehensively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SOAR solutions within the organizations broader security architecture.
- Conduct peer code review
Essential qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant area of study with a preference for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proven expertise in Python/ JavaScript / Bash programming languages.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of SOAR technologies: Google SecOps SOAR Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR etc.
- Cloud fundamentals: AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Knowledge of HTML development.
- Knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of Unix operating systems.
- Experience with Git and version control tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Assets:
- Industry certifications are nice to have.
- Knowledge of SIEM/EDR/network security tools.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps Jenkins and Puppet.
Professional and Educational Background
