As an integral member of the Australian Service Team your role will be to provide hands-on service support and project work including installation diagnosis and repair servicing and scheduled Preventive maintenance of Agfas Medical Imaging products which include X-Ray or Direct Radiology (DR) equipment Mobile X-Ray Systems Fluoroscopy X-Ray DR Retrofit also Computed Radiography (CR) devices and Medical DICOM printers to ensure achievement of customer satisfaction and HealthCare revenue.
Based in Melbourne VIC reporting to the Team Leader and Service Manager you will be responsible for:
- Conducting installations of X-ray systems and other Agfa devices in accordance with customer requirements and Agfa Radiologyspecifications from site Inspections project implementation through to final sign-off and acceptance.
- Analytically diagnose and perform repairs on Agfa Radiology equipment and ensure that relevant updates and patches are applied on affected products and solutions.
- Performing remote diagnostic procedures on Agfa Radiology customer sites.
- Performing preventative maintenance as scheduled and in accordance with Agfa Radiology and OH&S Policies.
- Based in Melbourne and travelling throughout Victoria and interstate and the region as directed when needed to carry out duties.
- Taking ownership of service situations from inception to resolution. This includes initiating escalation procedures as required ensuring a satisfactory resolution is achieved and informing the customer of all aspects of the resolution process.
- Documenting service calls expenses and time reports daily and submit tothe Service Deskon a weekly basis.
- Performing after hours support and participate on the 24/7 roster when required to support Agfa Radiology product and solutions.
- Maintaining security policies in the controlling of Agfa Radiology software and technical knowledge.
To be successful in this role ideally you will:
- Hold or be eligible for any required electrical and/or radiation licenses.
- Hold a tertiary qualification(s) inElectricalEngineering or similar technical qualifications.
- Have proven experience in electro-mechanical service and repair work. IdeallyMedical Imaging products such as X-Ray or Direct Radiology (DR) equipmentMobile X-ray Systems Fluoroscopy X-ray DR Retrofit or perhaps Computed Radiography (CR) and Medical DICOM printers
- Have basic IT knowledge of Windows operating systems PC repairs and installations databases networking storage etc.
- Be familiar with the setup and configuration of Medical Imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7.
- Be a highly motivated self starter who thrives on challenges with the ability to pick up new skills quickly and keeps abreast of new & emerging technologies
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong customer service focus.
- Hold a valid drivers license.
