Senior Consultant - Technology Advisory and Project Management

As a Senior Consultant in Wavestones Technology and Transformation practice you will serve as a trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of technology-focused project-driven this role you will play a key role in managing and delivering complex technological initiatives across organizations. Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to high-impact client engagements ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery. Engagements include:
  • Managing end-to-end technology project delivery including strategy implementation integration and team coordination across functions.
  • Leading technology project delivery across strategy implementation and integration efforts managing scope timeline and cross-functional teams.
  • Supporting IT strategy and CIO advisory engagements helping clients define technology roadmaps governance models and transformation priorities.
  • Overseeing delivery of data analytics and AI initiatives coordinating technical terms to implement scalable data platforms and insights-driven solutions.
  • Managing software application projects including custom development system integration and enterprise platform rollouts (e.g. ERP CRM cloud platforms).
• Drive project management activities: define scope develop project plans track milestones manage risks and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams providing structure in ambiguous situations and guiding stakeholders through resistance and change.
• Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations.
• Apply expertise by monitoring and identifying project issues mitigating risk and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of work.
• Confidently manage project teams deliver structure where there is ambiguity resolve stakeholder resistance and risks and implement the desired outcomes.
• Work closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
• Present findings both internally at Wavestone and externally to clients including data acquisition and insights.
• Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects.
• Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and develop new business engagement opportunities.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors degree in a variety of disciplines to include Business Technology Engineering or related fields.
• Masters degree preferred.

Required Experience  

• 3 years of consulting experience preferably in a Big Four or similar environment with a strong background managing technology projects including scope schedule budget and team leadership.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience using project management tools such as MS Project Jira or Smartsheet.
• Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain finance operations HR marketing and sales.
• Passion for identifying problems and the desire to collaborate with clients in designing and implementing simple solutions in complex and unclear situations.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional project teams. 
• Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
• Confidence and presence to engage directly with clients at the senior leadership level.
• Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly with both line and senior management level clients.
• Ability to travel based on client requirements.

Preferred Experience 

• PMP or other formal project management certification.
