Description

Educational Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience; healthcare experience preferred.
- At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead purchasing role with demonstrated vendor management and contract negotiation expertise.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Strong negotiation contract management and supplier relationship skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare procurement regulations and requirements preferred.
- Proficiency in procurement systems databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communicator with strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to analyze purchasing data develop strategies and drive cost savings initiatives.
- High ethical standards with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
