Job Description

Responsibilities:

You will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching research and specified administrative activities.

You must have completed a structured postgraduate training program from a reputable institution and possess FCPS FRCS American Board or equivalent qualification.

Applicants should have two or more years of experience to the level of Senior Instructor/ Assistant Professor in an HEC recognized University and a minimum of 2 research publications in journals recognized jointly by HEC and PMDC in the last five years.

In addition the candidate should have had additional training as a Fellow in Cardiology (minimum 3 years) and then an Electrophysiology fellow/equivalent for a minimum of 2 years in a reputable institution and/or a diploma in the appropriate field.

Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.

The Department of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital comprises of independent sections of Cardiology Dermatology Endocrinology Gastroenterology Internal Medicine Infectious Diseases Nephrology Neurology and Pulmonary & Critical Care. The Department has over 70 full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency Programmes are offered in Internal Medicine Neurology Adult Cardiology Gastroenterology Pulmonary Medicine Nephrology and Dermatology as well as Fellowship Programmes in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine Diabetes Endocrinology & Metabolism Interventional Cardiology and Infectious Diseases.
