Job Description
Position Overview: The Commerce Developer will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining our eCommerce solutions. With 9 years of experience in the field the ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce platforms web development and system integration. The role requires expertise in various technologies strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and deployment of eCommerce solutions using relevant technologies or platforms e.g. Magento Shopify Salesforce Commerce Cloud etc..
- Develop and maintain custom modules extensions and integrations to enhance eCommerce functionalities.
- Collaborate with product managers designers and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Optimize the performance scalability and security of eCommerce applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to eCommerce platforms and systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in eCommerce technology and apply them to improve our solutions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Participate in project planning estimation and execution.
Additional Information :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 years of experience in eCommerce development with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Expertise in mention specific eCommerce platforms e.g. Magento Shopify Salesforce Commerce Cloud etc..
- Strong proficiency in mention relevant programming languages and technologies e.g. PHP JavaScript HTML/CSS SQL etc..
- Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks such as mention relevant frameworks e.g. React Angular etc..
- Solid understanding of database management and integration techniques.
- Knowledge of web services and API integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
