Job Description

Role: Key Account Manager (Australian Market)
Location: Old Trafford Manchester
Hours: You will work 4 nights per week (9.30pm - 6.30am)
Salary: 42000 base (58000 OTE)

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing some of the highest-value and most prestigious clients within PHMGs Australian division. This role is designed for an elite relationship builder who thrives in a strategic client-centric environment where maintaining and expanding relationships with key stakeholders is paramount.

Working independently the Key Account Manager sets the standard for excellence demonstrating an expert ability to anticipate client needs strategising growth opportunities and mitigating risks to client retention. While not managing a team directly they serve as a mentor and coach to peers ensuring that best practices are shared across the department. Collaboration with internal teams including Creative Technical and Operations is a fundamental aspect of this role ensuring a seamless and superior client experience.

Strategic objectives and responsibilities:

  • Manage the most prestigious accounts within the Australian division ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership growth
  • Develop and execute tailored strategies to maximise revenue opportunities and client engagement while reducing potential churn
  • Serve as a trusted adviser proactively consulting with clients to enhance their branding and marketing strategies through PHMGs audio branding solutions
  • Maintain a deep understanding of base value and health identifying and acting on potential risks
  • Work closely with Creative Technical and Operational teams to deliver innovative high-impact solutions tailored to each clients business goals
  • Develop an excellent understanding of telephony technology and how these are used in conjunction with
  • Strategise client contact using a variety of platforms including online meetings and presentations
  • Assist in managing tentative clients by working closely with the Key Accounts Head of Client Support
  • Manage and retaining own served notice clients
  • Deliver additional revenue in line with targets having a specific focus on strategic pipeline planning
  • Manage multi-site client relationships with intricate operational structures ensuring seamless service delivery and value maximisation

Measures of success:

  • Proven experience in a client services or account management role with a track record of delivering outstanding results
  • A highly driven self-starter with creativity strategic thinking and a commitment to first-class customer service
  • Organised and methodical capable of managing a high-value portfolio with a keen eye for detail and data-driven decision-making
  • A thorough understanding of the fast-moving B2B market with commercial acumen and ability to drive growth
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills able to influence and engage clients at all levels
  • Confidence in online meetings and presentations with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying and capitalising on vertical sales opportunities closing high-value deals and mitigating churn risk
  • Shows initiative to identify and exploit potential vertical sales opportunities and knows how to close a deal
  • Ability to thrive under pressure maintaining a positive attitude while handling complex client issues
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital communication tools ensuring a seamless client experience
  • A team-oriented approach working independently while mentoring and supporting peers with best practices
