Job Description
We are looking for Senior/Principal Engineer Instrumentation
Pnr: 22173
Job Description:
- Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
- Participate in studies.
- Estimate instrumentation tasks.
- Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
- Discipline check of design basis (studies drawings and job packages).
- Follow up with suppliers package responsibility.
- Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
- Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
- Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
- Perform as-built.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
- Alternatively a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
- Strong experience in engineering design.
- Proficiency in Norwegian both spoken and written. Alternatively strong English skills both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX Norsok Equinor TR (Technical Requirements) STID ProCoSys ARIS.
- Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M).
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic and electrical control systems.
- Valid offshore and health certicicate
- Basic EX kurs
