Job Details:

The Development Engineer I plays a crucial role in designing developing and implementing software solutions. They are responsible for writing code debugging and troubleshooting issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Development Engineers also contribute to improving development processes and practices ensuring efficient and effective software Duties and Responsibilities:Delivers low-medium complexity development or automation tasks as part of a team. Comfortable participating in collaborative meetings with peers and stakeholders. Interacts with stakeholders to gain clarity on efforts. Documents code. Follow established software product engineering practices related to software development. Works under direct supervision. Receives instructions guidance and direction from others. Acquires knowledge on how to solve problems through on-the-job training. Applies standard techniques procedures and criteria to manage and perform assigned other assigned job-related duties that align with our organizations vision mission and values and fall within your scope of practice. Design and Development:Designing coding and debugging applications in various software languages or software solutions by studying information needs conferring with users and studying systems flow data usage and work processes. Testing and Maintenance:Performing unit testing and integration and improving existing codebases and peer review code and resolving software defects and issues. Collaboration:Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and other engineers to define design and ship new in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. Documentation:Writing and maintaining technical documentation to describe program development logic coding testing changes and corrections. Research and Development:Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains research to discover new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance. Project Management:Participating in project planning including estimating timeframes and resource tasks and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects. Security and Compliance:Ensuring software security and compliance with industry standards and data protection and security measures. Customer Interaction:Interacting with customers or end-users to gather requirements and provide customer requirements into technical specifications. Continuous Improvement:Continuously improving development processes and in continuous learning and professional :Education: Bachelors Degree preferably in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems Quantitative or Engineering Field or relevant : Less than one year of relevant or practical Skills: Programming (proficient in at least one language or proficient in 1 software tool)Technical Writing and DiagrammingAnalysis (Technical Business or Data)Soft Skills: Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and participate in collaborative -solving: Applying standard techniques to manage and perform assigned : Acquiring knowledge through on-the-job -solving: Analytical thinking for troubleshooting development : Collaborating with cross-functional teams on to Detail: Writing and maintaining technical Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
