Daily challenges
Providing technical support to DXC corporate customers
Handling of tickets which are automatically generated from notification systems or monitoring tools for a large variety of supported technologies
Basic troubleshooting of server OS database customer-specific applications backup storage and network
Communication with technical teams and experts supporting different technologies and broadening your technical know-how.
eXperience and skills required
Our key requirements are:
Excellent German and English language skills
Ability to work on night and weekend shifts
Strong analytical troubleshooting and technical skills
Ability to proactively learn new technologies processes and search for solutions
Working knowledge of network security concepts and tools
Working knowledge of Active Directory concepts including users computers groups policies
These will be considered as a BIG Advantage:
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Degree in computer science
Experience using monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios Zabbix Splunk Grafana etc.)
Understanding of one of the following technologies:
Linux/ Linux Server
Windows Server
Web applications (e.g. Apache Tomcat)
SAP
Databases (e.g. MSSQL Oracle)
