Job Summary
Schedule: Full-time 36 hours - day shift with an every other weekend rotationWhy YOU should work on 2 South:
The 2 South inpatient unit consists of 24 psychiatric beds.
The inpatient unit provides general psychiatric care to adolescents adults and geriatric patients.
It is a multidisciplinary full service therapeutic environment with an eclectic approach.
It offers intensive individual group family activity occupational and somatic therapies.
Psychological testing and ECT is available when indicated.

Qualifications
- Bachelors in Nursing is required.
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.
- A minimum of one-year inpatient psychiatry required.
- The RN candidate has demonstrated an ability to work compassionately with persons who experience behavioral health issues on a secure inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Adheres to all I C.A.R.E. standards.
- Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
- Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
