Job Description
Your Tasks
- Design and develop automation machinery programs for specific tasks and special projects.
- Maintain and update existing automation systems
- Inspect and repair machine breakdowns on automation systems and computer-controlled
machinery and restore machinery operations within earliest periods - Carry out planned maintenance schedules on related machinery and equipment
- Conduct market research and obtain best product and pricing for necessary components and
spare parts - Accountable to highlight any bottlenecks in applicable processes to the immediate supervisor
and implement necessary corrective actions as instructed
Your Profile
- Technical diploma in Engineering at NVQ level 4 or higher (Electrical mechanical or related
field) - Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation systems
- Proficiency in programming language as ladder logic structured texts and function block
diagrams (Experience in SIEMENS control system preferred) - Strong understanding of control systems sensors and instrumentation
- Ability to read technical drawings manuals and single line diagrams
- Knowledge of electronic microcontrollers and programming and with a fair understanding of
pneumatics and mechanical systems is preferred - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
