What You will do
As a QA Engineer your primary responsibility is ensuring our applications systems and products meet the highest quality standards. Youll be working closely with our U.S.-based Product and Engineering teams as well as collaborating with our Philippine-based Engineering Operations and Support teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaboration: Partner with developers product managers and designers to understand project requirements and create effective test plans and strategies.
- Test Execution: Develop and execute test cases scripts and scenarios to validate software functionality usability and performance.
- Defect Management: Identify document and track software defects through resolution using issue tracking systems.
- Testing Types: Perform functional regression integration and system testing to ensure the reliability of software products.
- Automation: Use automated testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright to enhance testing efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in design and code reviews provide feedback for quality improvements and contribute to automation and process enhancements.
- Monitoring: Analyze test results report progress and recommend improvements to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies.
About you
We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of software development testing methodologies tools and techniques who can effectively collaborate with our global team. You should have:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of QA processes methodologies and best practices.The ability to quickly learn new technologies tools and domain-specific knowledge.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Relevant experience with industry-standard tools like TestMo Cypress Playwright and GitHub.
- Proven track record of identifying areas for improvement and driving process enhancements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including the ability to communicate effectively with both local and U.S.-based teams.
