Looking to take the next step in your career Were seeking candidates with at least three years experience who are eager to grow and make an impact. As a valued member of EYs Business Transformation team youll contribute to some of New Zealands most complex and high-impact programs.From unlocking operational efficiencies to driving strategic change youll play a key role in supporting our government clients.
This is a hybrid position and is based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.
Ko T Rourou Your key responsibilities
You can expect a diverse range of responsibilities that allow you to make a meaningful difference. On any given day your duties may include:
- Working as a team in the successful delivery of business transformation projects across various areas including:
- Large programme planning and execution
- Operating model design
- Strategic cost transformation and operational efficiency
- Process optimisation and ways of working
- Business case development
- Oversee complex transformation programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from strategy through design and into implementation.
- Drive business development and account management activities including pursuits proposals and managing key client relationships.
Ng Pkenga Skills and attributes for success
- Proven experience leading and delivering business transformation projects and programs end-to-end
- Experience working within government departments.
- Government or consulting experience.
- Strong capabilities in business case development financial modelling and/or program delivery.
- Clear written communication and strategic thinking.
- Experience working on complex public sector initiatives or programs.
Ideally youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.
- A structured approach to critical problem-solving.
- Understanding of machinery of government.
- The ability to work in a team to leverage insights for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex technical and business concepts clearly and confidently to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Client-centric approach: Focus on delivering value to clients through tailored solutions and exceptional service delivery
- Project Management: Understanding of project delivery. Delivery experience as a project team member would be highly valuable
