Job Description
Senior Project Solutions Engineer
Responsibilities:
Develop software for turnkey machine vision system for manufacturing applications using Cognex VisionPro machine vision software and hardware Evaluate and select lighting and optics to create imaging front end Integrate turnkey machine vision system with robot and automation equipment and make adjustments troubleshoot and debug system. May need to travel and work in factory environment to install and support machine vision system to make sure all machines are qualified and ready for production according to schedule. May provide supervision to other team members at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production sites. Help to prepare Standard Operating Procedures for machine vision setup during overall machine setup and troubleshooting. Communicate with both internal and external customer to establish good working relationship. Provide daily status and progress report and attend update meetings. Capable of providing rapid response knows when to escalate and obtain help when necessary. Willing to travel according to support need. May require working in a different city/region (including Shenzhen and Shanghai areas). Trouble shooting capability (Simulate one scenary to evaluate). calibration issues trouble shooting. image acquisition issue. DOE design and data analysis ability solve the difficult technical problems encountered in the project. Develop vision tool ability develop universal tools for other engineers to use. Strong programming ability be able to understand and learn the new technologies in a timely manner. Evaluate vision projects solution ability can set up calibration schemes and create vision program framework.
Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in engineering field such as: Computer technology Automation Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Professional Experience:
Solid vision system knowledge and experience Good at C or C# or VB 3 or more years automation equipment maintenance trouble shooting and support experience
Oversea master graduate with machine vision project experience is warmly welcome
Windows programming capability is preferred
Personal Qualification:
Has do whatever it takes attitude to achieve teams goal Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skill Hard working resourceful flexible and work well under pressure Good document/report skill Good English reading and writing skill good ability of spoken English is preferred Strong sense of responsibilty following up projects Acceptable for bussiness trip overtime working
