Job Description
This Systems Engineer Architect opportunity is part of a program with four years left.
Requirements
- TS/SCI FSP Clearance
- Bachelors degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required with 20 years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity. 4 years of additional general engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- Multi-discipline background including both hardware and software product development
- Ability to objectively assess possible architectural limitations or shortcomings in such areas as scaling speed and throughput
- Knowledge of internal workings of Ethernet switch ASICs
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications and routing protocols
- Experience supporting system and software architecture development requirements analysis design process execution and evaluation selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools and test integration
- Proficiency in Linux
- Experience working with networking protocols such as TCP/IP IPv4/6 etc.
- Familiarity with Python C/C code development shell scripting and test and configuration management tools
- Understanding/background in programmable switch technology
Desired Skills
- Proficiency with Arista EOS MPLS Multicast and Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Experience with test automation tools such as Jenkins SoapUI
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Kibana and Grafana
- Knowledge of SIGINT system end-to-end data flow and components
