Description of the role:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will play a key role in designing maintaining and securing our high-availability network systems contributing to automation and resilience across hybrid cloud environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate monitor and maintain a highly available global backend network infrastructure.
- Design implement and optimize network solutions in alignment with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Supplier coordination and support to 1st/2nd line teams
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and contribute to the design of secure resilient network architectures.
- Continuously assess and improve network performance automation and scalability.
- Maintain accurate network documentation configurations and operational procedures.
What you need to succeed:
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco networking technologies including routing switching and enterprise infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of dynamic routing protocols (BGP OSPF) and network segmentation (VRF VLAN MPLS).
- Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Python PowerShell Bash or Go for infrastructure management.
- Experience building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code pipelines and automating network operations.
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001) and best practices in securing network environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking in Azure AWS or hybrid environments including VPNs ExpressRoute or VPC peering.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. NetFlow SNMP Prometheus Grafana or similar).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced agile environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
