AZeroHarmManagerwillalso managea teamofZeroHarmBusinessPartnerswhowillsupportvariousteamsandcontractsinachievingtheirZeroHarmobjectives.

Inparticularthepositionwillberequiredto:

• SupportwiththedevelopmentofZeroHarmstrategiesand initiativesthatwilldrivebehavioural changein thewaywork is executedwithinthedivision.
• Facilitatedevelopmentofa ZeroHarmleadershipculturewithinDownerthatis focussedon manager-leddeliveryofpositiveZeroHarmoutcomes.
• CoachandmentorbusinessportfolioleadershipontheirspecificZeroHarmrisk profileandconduct incidenttrendanalysisasrequired.
• Provideexperthealthsafetyandenvironmenttechnicaladviceguidanceandsupportto managementandstaffofDownercontractsacrossanallocatedportfolioincludingservicedelivery partners.
• ProvideleadershipcoachingandmanagetheperformancetotheZeroHarmBusinessPartners.
• Oversightof thedeliveryandimplementationof theZeroHarmStrategyandensureperformance objectives/outcomesareachievedwithinagreedtimeframes.
• Oversightof theimplementationof theDownerZeroHarmmanagementsystemtoexisting operationalcontextsandnewbusinessopportunities.
• OversightofZeroHarmINXModerationfor allocatedportfolioasrequired.
• LeadZeroHarmprojectstosupportachievementof ZeroHarmStrategyasrequestedbyHeadof ZeroHarm.
• Oversightof professionalandtimelyinvestigationofincidentswithinbusinessareasorleadcomplex investigationsutilisingICAMorequivalentmethodology.
• Leadcompliancecomplaintshandlingandauditingprocesses.

Nga pkenga matua Important Skills

• Minimum 5 years practical experience within a similar (senior HSE Advisor or Manager) WHS/OHS role.
• Experience in Zero Harm leadership roles (preferred).
• Experience providing technical health safety and environmental advice across multiple industry sectors.
• Understand of sector specific controls standards and processes (e.g.
• Infection Control standards).
• Understanding of safety and environmental management systems.
• (ISO45001/ ISO14001) or equivalent standards.
• WHS/OHS legislation/application to an organisation with multiple operating contexts.
• Experience successfully influencing senior operational managers to ensure operational adherence to critical controls.
• Understanding of principles & content of relevant principal and subordinate WHS legislation.
• Solid knowledge of workers compensation and injury management processes and legislation.
• Ability to write professional reports and present key findings to operational and senior management.
