Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Strategic Finance Intern to join our team. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis strategic planning and decision-making processes within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the financial budgeting process by coordinating with teams to ensure alignment between group initiatives and local strategies while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Learn to build financial models and provide data analytics to understand business conditions and evaluate the economic implications of various actions.
- Support subsidiaries and group businesses by highlighting performance trends and identifying causes of unexpected variances.
- Analyze financial performance from different perspectives
- Provide decision support by monitoring business drivers industry trends and competitor analysis.
- Prepare financial analysis reports for senior management to aid in decision-making both periodically and on an ad-hoc basis.
- Participate in strategic initiatives including M&A and fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Business / Investment / Economics degree program
- Strong quantitative and effective communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Positive attitude enthusiasm and eagerness to take on new challenges.
