Job Description
Your mission
- Research analyze and identify appropriate colors materials and finishes in line with product strategy and design concepts market trends and insights provided by the design team
- Based upon research on trending lifestyles new materials markets and technologies establish CMF stories required for product design and deliver emotional values in new perspectives to consumers
- Implement CMF concepts with tangible material samples build contact with local & global manufacturing networking prototyping is carried out to enable actual development
- Participate in the process from product conception to production
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including Industrial Design Research and Strategy to translate design concepts into executable CMF specifications

Your profile
- Substantial work-experience in a design- and innovation environment ideally already as aCMF specialist
- Knowledge in material trends and forecast innovative material used in a variety of Hard and Soft Goods applications across multiple industries including interior design home decor and consumer electronics.
- Knowledge in materials and manufacturing processes
- Work with material vendors to develop both advanced material samples and standards for production
- Work alongside with engineers suppliers and manufacturers to develop concepts and prototypes into material technologies suitable for mass manufacturing
- Highly independent and self-motivated strong work-ethic and high reliability in remote/on-site team settings
