Job Description
Your mission
- engage in interdisciplinary client-projects and work with cross functional teams
- conduct desktop- and qualitative-research and identify intriguing insights
- research analyze and identify appropriate colors materials and finishes in line with product strategy and design concepts market trends and insights provided by the design team
- based on research on trending lifestyles new materials markets and technologies establish CMF stories required for product design and deliver emotional values in new perspectives to consumers
- explore and generate innovative ideas and turn them into people-minded concepts
- participate in design-crits to improve your craft and thinking skills
- design products and experiences using CC Rhino Solidworks Keyshot and/or Cinema 4D.
Your profile
- major in industrial or product design ideally with a focus on CMF design
- convincing critical thinking outstanding creativity and good presentation skills
- keen sense for details and outstanding craft skills particularly hand-sketching CC Rhino or Solidworks Keyshot and/or Cinema 4D
- knowledge in material trends and forecast innovative material used in a variety of Hard and Soft Goods applications across multiple industries including interior design home decor and consumer electronics
- Knowledge in materials and manufacturing processes
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Chinese and/or German skills are a big plus
- natural presence healthy ambition and high emotional intelligence
- independent self-motivated and strong hands-on working attitude
