Egan Company is hiring an Electrical Operations Manager to lead our Electrical & Limited Energy Service operations. From sales and field execution to customer relations youll be a key leader shaping strategies that drive long-term success. The basic responsibilities of the Electrical Operations Manager include but are not limited to the following:
Monitor performance profitability and operational standards on service maintenance contracts quoted service work and T&M projects within the Service Electrical Team.
Partner with the Director of Sales to develop new strategies identify market opportunities and build business plans.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through direct engagement oversight of sales activity and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Lead staffing efforts for field and office roles including hiring onboarding and workforce adjustments as needed. Work with local unions and labor managers to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and trade requirements.
Guide and mentor direct reports by setting clear goals providing regular feedback and offering learning opportunities to support their professional growth.
Encourage and apply innovative thinking to resolve operational challenges improve processes and enhance both customer and employee experiences.
Promote teamwork within the Electrical Team and maintain strong collaboration with other Service divisions ATS and Egan Company business units.
Maintain effective relationships and communication with employees peers and leadership to ensure alignment and engagement.
Ensure compliance with Egan safety policies and champion a culture of safety in all operations.
Stay current on industry trends trade updates prefabrication practices and evolving methods.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Two-year technical Associates degree; four-year degree in related discipline is preferred.
Equivalent level of experience in related discipline considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience within a position requiring knowledge of electrical systems scheduled service and/or preventative maintenance. Additionally must also have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Great Plains (accounting software) and DocLink (paperless storage) experience are highly desired.
Strong leadership mentoring and coaching abilities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little direction.
Strong customer service and communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment.
Attention to detail - ability to prioritize and organize daily workload.
Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
Strong MS Office and Google Suite skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Docs Sheets Slides).
Ability to foresee events and anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and react to these appropriately.
Must be able and willing to travel to jobsites and customer sites as required.
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
Performance of duties in the office approximately 80% of the time with occasional visits to customer facilities/jobsites.
Position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Salary Range: $110000 - $139000 (subject to such factors as experience education and/or skill set) plus vehicle allowance and potential annual discretionary bonus.
