Job Description

Job Title: Project Architect (Registered Architect)

Location: Bend Oregon (On-site/Hybrid as needed)

Salary Range: $105000 $145000 annually (commensurate with experience)

HireIQ Solutions is leading the search for a Project Architect to join a design-forward architecture and planning studio based in Bend Oregon. The studio brings together architects interior designers and planners under one roof fostering a collaborative culture where creativity and technical excellence intersect. Position Overview

The Project Architect will lead projects from concept through completion with the authority to sign and stamp drawings as a registered architect. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment blending strong design sensibility technical rigor and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design and documentation for projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Stamp and sign architectural documents as a registered architect.
  • Manage project schedules budgets and deliverables from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Collaborate closely with clients consultants contractors and multidisciplinary internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes zoning requirements and sustainability objectives.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a supportive creative studio culture.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings presentations and community engagement activities.


Qualifications

  • Active architectural license (Oregon registration or eligible for reciprocity).
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 510 years of professional experience including demonstrated project leadership.
  • Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp and Enscape experience a plus.
  • Strong design portfolio showing both conceptual creativity and technical execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
