Job Description
MEMCO Houston is hiring MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS
As a plant and mechanical technician you will be responsible forimplementing repairing and the general upkeep of fine mechanical equipment. This may involve investigating problems and coming up with solutions.
Job Location: Houston TX
Pay Rate: $27/hr (based on experience)
Skills:
- Ability to use repair and maintain machines and tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of different fastener grades (steel aluminum stainless steel) and the lubrication and torqueing requirements
- Problem-solving skills
- Practical skills for repairing fine tuning and maintaining equipment/tools
Job Duties:
- Implementing equipment modifications to help improve operation and reliability
- Investigating and testing ideas to improve existing systems or to overcome mechanical problems
- Installing and testing of moving parts.
- Preparing electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems for commissioning by subject matter experts
- Identifying and repairing mechanical challenges in equipment
- Working with other professionals within and outside the technician sector
Job Requirements:
- MUST provide own tools essential for the job
- Criminal background check may be ran upon job offer
